What should I know before installing Kapton film heaters?
Please read the following carefully before installing Kapton Film Heaters to prevent misoperation and ensure a longer heater life.
1. Don't let the leads hang loosely. Make sure that the lead wire is installed in a fixed position to prevent the film heater from being broken by pulling the lead wire.
2. Do not immerse the film heater in liquid or expose the heater to steam and corrosive gas.
3. Do not operate the heater at a voltage higher than the specified or rated voltage.
4. Do not cut, punch, disassemble the heater and avoid contact with sharp objects.
5. Unless adequate control devices are installed to ensure safety, do not let the heater run unattended.
6. Don't overlap.
7. Don't try to repair the damaged film heater.
8. Avoid exposing the heater to substances that may ignite or damage the heater.
