PTC Film and Strip Heater

PTC Film and Strip Heater refers to the PTC heaters with film insulated and PTC heater with Shell. Unlike traditional heating elements that use a resistance wire such as Nichrome to generate heat, PTC heater is made of PTC ceramic heating element and aluminum tube. The PTC heater is fixed by a pair of metal electrodes, with leads on both sides of the PTC element. Its heating element is mainly composed of barium titanate-based ceramic stones, so it has the unique characteristics of semiconductors, It is an automatic constant temperature heater and does not need any additional temperature applications. A PTC heater featuring an insulating film comprises one or more PTC elements integrated with two aluminum or stainless steel plates serving as electrodes, enclosed within insulating material. Specifically engineered for rapid heating applications, such as electric hair-curlers, it boasts a high surface temperature reaching up to 295°C and exhibits exceptional voltage tolerance, exceeding 450V, surpassing conventional products available in the market. It offers optional operating voltages of 110V and 220V.
