The role of electric heating in industry and agriculture
With the development of science and technology, the role of electric heating in industry and agriculture has become more and more important. To reduce product costs, improve labor intensity, and mechanize and streamline the production process is still a very important aspect of China’s modernization. The so-called electrical process, which directly applies electrical energy to the production process, is a new technology that has been gradually popularized and a major innovation in the production process in modern industry. The electrical processes currently used in industrial and agricultural production include various processing methods such as electric heating, electrochemistry, electric pulse, and electric corrosion. Among them, the electric heating process is the first and most widely used.
In heavy industry, the application of electric heating to metal heat treatment can ensure extremely uniform heating of metal structural parts. The heating temperature is extremely accurate and improve the quality of heat treatment. In addition, the electric heating device can be easily made airtight, and the required gas or vacuum can be maintained in it. With the help of electric heating method, a certain part or surface of the workpiece can also be locally heated. Therefore, more and more special heat treatment devices appear in mechanical manufacturing and ferrous non-ferrous and light metal metallurgy. Especially in the foundry industry, with the improvement of technology, there are more and more castings with complex shapes, thin walls, less cutting or no cutting. This can greatly reduce material consumption and work-hour quotas, thereby obtaining low costs. However, in order to make the molten metal fill the cavity quickly and ensure that the molten metal has good heat and fluidity, the mold is often made into a mold with an electric heating device.
In light industry, electric heating has become an indispensable new process technology in the heating and drying processes of food, wood, paper, cotton and wool, printing and dyeing. No matter in the old rubber vulcanization process (such as single-head electric heating tube used in vulcanization equipment), or in the newly developed plastics industry, molding and injection molding are inseparable from electric heating (such as profile extruder heating tube), especially in The uniform heating of each part of the mold plays a key role in the process of more complex products or multiple molds (such as: mold electric heating tube).
In the petrochemical industry, the use of electric heating in the heating of heat tracing pipe tanks of crude oil pipelines, the drying of thermal insulation paints and the extraction of chemical fertilizers, has reduced project investment and reduced operating costs.
In agriculture, with the development of modern technology and the gradual formation of agricultural specialization, electric heating has also been widely used in fields such as seedling breeding, silkworm mulberry invigoration, fry cultivation, chicken farm incubation, and improved breed cultivation. For example, the silkworm mulberries used to burn coal for heating, and the temperature was not easy to control. The green rate of silkworm eggs was uneven. The carbon dioxide gas component in the silkworm house was large and the silkworm raised girls fainted. After switching to electric heating and humidification, the indoor air is fresh, the working environment is greatly improved, the green rate of silkworm eggs is neat, and the green rate is significantly increased.
