The difference between KST thermostat and KSD thermostat
Whether it is KST temperature control switch or KSD temperature control switch, it is a mechanical temperature control switch, and the internal bimetal is used as the on-off of the temperature sensing element to control the circuit to protect the equipment. So what is the difference between the two?
The KSD series temperature control switch adopts butterfly-shaped bimetallic strip. When the equipment is working normally, the temperature switch is in a free state and does not have any action. When the equipment fails and generates high temperature, the bimetallic strip closes/opens, and when the normal temperature drops to Safe, bimetallic open/close. Used in household appliances, automotive diesel filter heating, disinfection cabinets, electric welding machines, etc.

KST series temperature control switches are adjustable temperature control switches. There are flashing type, slow-action type and other types. The working principle is also to use the thermal characteristics of the bimetallic sheet. When the temperature control switch is heated or cooled, it will move and produce Mechanical energy pushes the energy storage reed, but the hot and cold displacement of the bimetal does not act on the contact immediately, but when the energy storage reed slowly accumulates to the turning point, it makes a sudden action, and the contact is quickly clutched to make and break. When opening the circuit and adjusting the temperature, the KST thermostat has a wide range of applications and can be used in more temperature adjustment and control appliances. Generally used in electric irons, high and low switch cabinets, etc., rail type, easy to install.
