Resistance heating wire is used in many types of equipment where electrical energy needs to be converted into heat. While it is commonly associated with ovens and electric heaters, its applications also extend to industrial heating and thermal processing.
1. Industrial Furnaces and Kilns
Furnaces, kilns, annealing equipment, and sintering systems often use resistance wire as the heating element. These applications may require the wire to operate continuously at elevated temperatures, so the material and wire size need to match the working conditions.
The heating wire may be formed into coils or other shapes according to the furnace design. Voltage, power, heating length, and operating temperature are all important when selecting the right specification.

2. Ovens and Electric Heating Equipment
Resistance wire is also found in commercial and household heating equipment, including ovens, toasters, air heaters, and other electric appliances.
Compared with large industrial furnaces, these products often have more limited installation space. The wire diameter, resistance, and coil dimensions therefore need to work with the available space and required heating output.
3. Drying and Thermal Processing Equipment
Drying machines, air heating systems, and heat-treatment equipment use resistance wire to generate and maintain the required temperature. Since these machines can have very different operating conditions, the heating wire specification needs to be selected according to the actual application.
