What is the Function of a PTC Component on the Air Conditioner?
PTC acts on the air conditioner and is a positive temperature coefficient semiconductor heating device. Generally speaking, it is a ceramic electric heater, which is used for electric heating when the air conditioner is heating.
Usually when the weather is severely cold, the outside of the air conditioner will be frosted. When the temperature is lower than 0°, the air conditioner will be busy defrosting, and basically cannot heat normally.
