How do you replace a hot plate on an electric stove?
If the hot plate on the electric stove is broken, many people do not know how to replace it. Today we will introduce how to replace it.
Here are the basics for replacing the hot plate for a stove:
1.Identify the make and model for your stove and the heating element to make sure you get the exact replacement part.
2.Turn off the electrical circuit for the stove or unplug the main power cord before opening or gaining access.
3.Acess the hot plate and notice the wiring connections and make notes to make sure the replacement is connected the same.
4.Remove the wires and carefully remove the existing top hot plate.
5.Put the replacement plate in position and attach the wiring to the hot plate the same as the original making sure the connections are firmly in place.
6.Complete installing the replacement hot plate as the original.
7.Carefully close up all access points to the top of the hot plate.
8.Restore the electrical circuit power and test the replacement part.
