What should I do if the finned heater freezes and cracks when the temperature is too low?
In the process of using the finned tube, once there is a problem, such as freezing and cracking damage, then how should we deal with it? In other words, what are the reasons for it? After knowing the reason, how should we solve it so that it can avoid the same problem from happening again? Therefore, the following content is very important. For finned tubes, we must read them carefully so that we can grasp them early.

The reasons for the frost crack damage of the finned heater are summarized as follows:
1.The heat exchange area has a large margin. During the use of the finned tube in winter, the flow rate of the heat medium is too small, causing icing inside the fresh air side coil, which will damage the finned tube by freezing and cracking.
2.The finned heater is not properly handled during installation and piping, so that there is water at the lowest point, and it is easy to freeze in winter, which will damage the finned heater by freezing.
3.The valve has internal leakage, or the condensed water generated by the finned heater cannot be discharged smoothly, which will also cause the finned heater to be frozen and damaged.
Based on the above reasons, the solutions we can take are:
1.The heat exchange area of the finned tube should not have too much margin. And if the heating area is much smaller than the cooling area, an air heater can be installed alone to avoid waste.
2. The air cooler is best placed behind the air heater to avoid this problem.
3. The installation and piping of finned tubes shall be carried out in accordance with the specified requirements and specifications, and shall not be operated in violation of regulations.
4.The valve should be inspected frequently, and repair or replace in time if it is damaged, especially the trap.
