There are many kinds of electric heating tubes in the market, and their shapes are also various. Such as simple mold single head electric heating tube, U-shaped heating pipe, more complex flange electric heating pipe. However, there are only two types of electric heating tubes according to the structure of electric heating tubes, one is single head electric heating tubes, the other is double head electric heating tubes. Different structures:

The two leads of the single head heating pipe are led out from one end of the heating rod, and the two leads of the double head heating pipe are respectively led out from the two ends of the electric heating pipe.

Different power design:

With the same diameter and length, the power of single head electric heating tube is larger than that of double head electric heating tube. For example, under the condition of dry firing, the maximum power of single head pipe with diameter of 12mm and length of 250mm can be 700W, while the maximum power of double head heating pipe can only be 375W under the same service environment


So after knowing the difference between single head electric heating tube and double head electric heating pipe, we can distinguish whether the electric heating pipe we see is single head heating pipe or double head heating pipe. For example, U-shaped heating tube and W-type finned electric heating tube belong to double head heating pipe. The flange heating pipe with complex shape actually belongs to the category of double head pipe, because it is composed of one, two, three or three multiple root U-tubes.
