As an air fryer manufacturer, you know that performance, reliability, and fit all depend heavily on your heating element.
When it comes to convection coil heaters, off-the-shelf solutions often fall short. That's why many OEM brands choose customized coil heaters tailored to their product designs.
So what exactly can you customize?
Let's break down the key customization options available for convection coil heaters, especially for air fryer applications.
🌀 1. Coil Shape & Layout
Coil shape directly affects airflow, heat distribution, and cooking uniformity. You can customize:
| Shape | Use Case |
|---|---|
| 🔁 Spiral Round | Most common; fits under central fan |
| ⬜ Square or Rectangular | For square cavity or dual-zone fryers |
| 🐚 Flat S-Shape | For narrow spaces; consistent surface heat |
| ⭕ Helix with center hole | Surrounds fan for 360° convection |
We help you optimize shape based on your fan position, chamber geometry, and heat distribution target.
⚡ 2. Voltage & Power Rating
We customize coil heaters to meet your local market and performance requirements:
| Specification | Available Range |
|---|---|
| Voltage | 100V, 110V, 120V, 220V, 230V, 240V |
| Wattage | 600W – 1800W+ (per coil) |
| Power Tolerance | ±5% or custom specs |
🧠 Want smart cooking modes? We can also design multi-stage coils for variable power heating.
🧱 3. Mounting & Fixing Options
Proper mounting ensures safe, stable, and efficient integration. We offer:
| Mounting Type | Benefit |
|---|---|
| 🔩 Bracket Mount | Easy to install onto chassis or top cover |
| 🧲 Screw/Stud Mount | Firmly fixed with nut; great for mass production |
| 🔧 Rivet Hole Support | Quick OEM assembly |
| 🌀 Spring or Clip Mount | Allows slight coil expansion (thermal) |
We tailor the mounting based on your space constraints, automation level, and thermal expansion needs.
🔍 4. Coil Dimensions & Pitch
| Parameter | Custom Range |
|---|---|
| Coil Outer Diameter | 6mm – 16mm |
| Coil Pitch (spacing) | Tight (3mm) to Wide (12mm) |
| Heating Wire Diameter | 0.4mm – 0.7mm |
| Coil Length | Based on your power demand |
Choosing the right combination impacts:
🔥 Heating speed
🌬️ Airflow behavior
🛡️ Longevity under thermal cycling
🧪 5. Material Selection
You can choose based on budget, durability, or corrosive resistance:
| Material | Key Features |
|---|---|
| SUS304 | Standard stainless steel, great for general use |
| SUS316 | With molybdenum; high resistance to grease, corrosion |
| NiCr Alloy | High heat resistance; longer lifespan |
| FeCrAl Alloy | Excellent oxidation resistance, lower cost |
We also offer:
Passivation for extra corrosion protection
Polishing or coating for surface enhancement
📦 6. Connector & Terminal Customization
Need it plug-and-play ready? We support:
| Type | Application |
|---|---|
| Tab terminals | Fast connection to controller board |
| Ring terminals | Stable mechanical connection |
| Lead wires + sleeves | For sealed wiring and insulation |
All wires and sleeves can be UL certified upon request.
