The heating principle of the heat sealing machine

- Mar 13, 2020-

The heat sealing machine is to use electric heating, high-frequency voltage and ultrasonic to make the sealing part of the film become vicious when heated. With the help of a certain pressure, the two layers of the film will fall into one, and maintain a certain strength and sealing performance after cooling to ensure Commodities can withstand certain external forces during packaging, transportation, storage, and consumption to ensure that the products do not leave afterimages and leaks, thereby achieving the purpose of protecting the products.

The decisive role in the heating process includes heat sealing temperature, heat sealing pressure and heat sealing time.

Heat sealing temperature is to make the adhesive film layer to a more ideal state of viscous flow. The viscous flow temperature and decomposition temperature of the polymer are the lower and upper limits of the heat seal. The difference between these two temperatures is an important factor in measuring the heat seal of the material.

The heat-sealing pressure is the result of the effective viscous polymer segment interpenetrating and diffusing between the sealing interfaces of the film that is already in a viscous state, and also the distance between the polymers is close to the result of intermolecular forces. If the heat seal pressure is too low, the heat seal may not be strong. If the pressure is too high, some of the effective segments in the viscous flow state may be squeezed out, resulting in a half-cut state of the heat seal portion, resulting in the drawing.

The heat-sealing time determines the heat-sealing temperature, pressure and production efficiency of the equipment.
