The heat-sealing pressure is the result of the effective viscous polymer segment interpenetrating and diffusing between the sealing interfaces of the film that is already in a viscous state, and also the distance between the polymers is close to the result of intermolecular forces. If the heat seal pressure is too low, the heat seal may not be strong.
