Power density range of silicone rubber heater


The silicone rubber oil drum heater calculates the total length of the heating belt required based on the total heat dissipation of the pipe or container and the power of the selected heating belt. As the pipeline is equipped with elbows, gates, brackets and other accessories, the order length of parallel belts is generally increased by 5% -10%. The oil temperature in the hydraulic system should generally be controlled within the range of 30-50°C.

If the oil temperature is too high, the oil will be aged and deteriorated, and the viscosity of the oil will decrease at the same time, resulting in an increase in leakage in the component and a decrease in system efficiency. If the oil temperature is too low, the viscosity of the oil will be too high, making it difficult for the pump to suck oil. If the oil temperature is too high or too low, it will cause abnormal operation and make the oil work within the normal range. 


The oil temperature of the system needs to be controlled, which can be heated or cooled. The oil can be heated by steel shot electric heating or steam heating. In order to prevent the oil from overheating and deterioration, the surface temperature of the heating tube should not be higher than 120℃, and the surface power density of the electric heating tube should not exceed 3W/cm2.
