How to use pressure tester to test the pressure of tubular heater?


Customer question: the first time I use this instrument, I don't know how to test it. The requirement is to add voltage of 1 minute (1000 + 2 times of rated voltage) V to the tubular heater with a withstand voltage tester. Even if the leakage voltage is less than 30mA, I just don't know how to connect the instrument with the tubular heater and add the voltage.


Apply the test voltage between any terminal of the electrode of the heating tube and the outer wall for one minute. Generally, the insulation or withstand voltage test is to measure the withstand voltage between the tube core and the outer wall. The high-voltage output terminal of the tester is connected to either end or two terminals of the electrode at the same time. The grounding end of the instrument is connected to the outer wall of the electric heating tube. In this way, the test voltage is applied between the tube core and the outer wall. After the connection, the voltage is slowly increased to the standard value, and the observation is made while adding until the requirements are met The result is the insulation (withstand voltage) value between the core and the outer wall.
