How to replace thermostat in oven?
1. Turn off the power to the oven. This involves unplugging the oven or turning off the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the old thermostat. Different models may have different ways of removing the thermostat, but generally, the process involves removing screws or releasing clips that hold the thermostat in place.
3. Disconnect the wires that are connected to the old thermostat. Take note of which wire goes where as you may need this information later.
4. Connect the wires to the new thermostat, following the same wire connections as the old thermostat.
5. Place the new thermostat in the position where the old thermostat was located and secure it in place with screws or clips.
6. Turn the power back on to the oven and check if the new thermostat is working as expected.
7. Test the oven temperature to ensure it is regulating properly. If not, the thermostat may need to be calibrated or replaced again.
