Fix with double-sided tape
This method is a commonly used fixing method, that is, stick a layer of double-sided adhesive on the back of the silicone rubber heater, electric heating film and other products (the back of the lead-out surface of the power cord). Double-sided tape generally uses high-temperature resistant double-sided tape, such as 3M double-sided tape; if the temperature is not high, in order to save costs, ordinary double-sided tape can also be used. This fixing method is simple and easy to operate, but also has its limitations.
1. Do not reuse. Once pasted, remove the heater and the double-sided tape will lose its effect.
2.The time limitation. Generally speaking, the double-sided tape will be easily oxidized if it takes too long. As time goes by, the sticking effect will deteriorate.
3.The requirements for the surface of the heated object are relatively high, and the surface must be smooth, clean and free of water droplets.
4.Do not use under severe vibration conditions, because the adhesive strength of the double-sided adhesive itself will not be too high, especially in the case of long-term high temperature use, the adhesive layer will be cured.
Reserve screw holes for fixing
This kind of fixing method is also commonly used, which is to make holes on the surface of products such as silicone rubber heaters. This method is generally flat heating, overlap the holes on the heating pad with the holes on the heated object, and then fix the screws. The advantage of this method is that it can be reused, and it can be removed when heating is not required, or replaced with other same equipment. The disadvantage is that the fit is not very tight, especially for products with a large area and few holes.
This method is generally used to heat the sides of cylinders, cuboids, and cubes, that is, punch holes or make iron buckles at both ends of products such as silicone rubber heaters. When using, hang the springs on the other end. Reusable and easy to disassemble. For example, an oil drum heater is fixed on the side of the oil drum with a spring for heating.
