How to estimate the power of electric tubular heater of water tank?

Power is a very important parameter in making electric tubular heater of water tank, and also an important factor to measure the life of heating pipe. The engineer of Jaye industry can judge the service life of the tubular heater according to the power. the total length of the heating zone and the service environment. This shows the importance of the electric tubular heater  power parameter, then how do we calculate the power? What are the parameters needed to calculate the power of the electric tubular heater ,

1、 Parameters required for heating liquid to calculate the power of electric tubular heater (static liquid). The required parameters are as follows: (taking water tank and boiler as examples)

1). Size and material of water tank and boiler

The size of the water tank is the length, width and height of the water tank. The size of the boiler is the diameter and height of the boiler. These parameters are used to calculate their body and volume. Stainless steel, aluminum alloy and iron are common materials for water tanks and boilers. Knowing their materials can determine whether the water tanks and boilers are suitable for drilling and installing electric tubular heater.

2). Water level and water volume (kg)

The water level height refers to the position where the water in the water tank and boiler is the least. According to this parameter, we can calculate the weight of water in them and the length of reserved cold zone when the heating pipe is installed vertically.

3). Heating temperature difference (℃)

It is to heat the water in the water tank and boiler from how many degrees to how many degrees.

4). Heating time requirement (hours)

It refers to how long it takes to heat the water in the water tank and boiler from how many degrees to how many degrees. Customers can tell us according to their ideal time.

5). Whether there is thermal insulation layer outside water tank and boiler (mm)

Generally, there will be thermal insulation layer outside the water tank and boiler, which can reduce the heat loss of the water tank. If so, what is the thickness. The thickness of the insulation layer is the length of the cold zone reserved when the heating pipe passes through the insulation layer.

6). Are water tanks and boilers sealed when heated

The boiler is generally sealed. Whether the water tank is sealed is a parameter to consider the heat loss rate and also a factor that has a great influence on the calculated power.

Knowing the above parameters, plus our years of experience, we can calculate the power of water tank and boiler accurately.

As long as the customer clearly knows the parameters needed to calculate the power of the electric heating tube, and then provide us with these parameters. Any more questions, please just contact Jaye industry by info@jaye-heater.com.
