How To Choose Mold Heater?
Generally, mold heating is to punch holes in the mold, and then insert the heater directly into the mold hole. From this point of view, the cartridge heater and the double-head heating rod are first from the appearance.
To satisfy the mold heating.
In fact, generally more than 80% of customers will use cartridge heater for their own mold heating, because the cartridge heater can use its own internal structure.
The volume is large, which means high power. This kind of heating rod + sub with small volume and large power is welcomed by customers. At the same time, because the two connecting terminals of the cartridge heater are on one side, the wiring convenience has been greatly improved, so the cartridge heater is widely used in the mold heating environment.
Using a cartridge heater to heat the mold, what should we pay attention to?
1. The diameter of the cartridge heating tube must be closely aligned with the diameter of the die hole. Usually the gap between the two is less than 0.1mm. For example, a heating rod with a diameter of 10 should be a diameter within 10.1.
2. The coaxiality and size tolerance of the mounting hole should be effectively ensured when machining, such as using a reamer and other tools to trim the machining.
3. Before installing the mold electric heater, the residue left in the processing, such as organic oil, will be carbonized after heating, which will affect the ability of heat transfer.
4. There will be no problem when using at the design voltage. The actual power during use can be calculated according to the following formula: [Use voltage/design voltage] ★[Use voltage/design(Counter voltage) *Design power = power in use (Example) An electric heater with a rated voltage and power of 230V and 500W, using a voltage of 220V, then its use power is 418.6W, approximately 84% of rated power.
