Finned type tubular heater is mainly working in a dry burning operating environment, which are made by putting on square fins on the basis of bare heater tube to enlarges the radiating area and decreases the heat loss.

The first type is winding fins, the second is square fins. What is the difference between them?

The square fin electric heating tube is better than the winding fin electric heating tube with good heat dissipation. Therefore, the making cost of square fin is more higher than winding type fin.

The above is the difference between them. Most of customers use the winding fins because of its low cost and simple production. But if you have the requirements for the elaborate heating devices, it is better than use the square finned heating tube.

Precautions for Square Fin Electric tubular heater:

The distance between fin and fin should be about 5mm, we suggest that the length of the tube should not exceed 800mm, otherwise it will be more time-consuming to make and the cost will be higher. It is recommended to use stainless steel 304 material for the square fins when heating humid air, which is not easy to rust.
