How does an industrial Cartridge heater work?

The barrel heater is composed of a resistance coil wound on a ceramic core, which is surrounded by a dielectric and wrapped in a metal sheath. The dynamic heat transferred to the jacket through the coil causes the jacket to heat up. The heat is then transferred to the internal metal parts that need it.

In high power density, close fit is more important. These holes should be drilled and reamed, not just drilled with a universal drill bit. Closer fit, the heater will run colder and have a longer life expectancy.
