Finned Convector Heater Elements

Finned Convector Heater Elements are made of basic tubular elements with continuous spiral fins that are permanently furnace brazed to the sheath at a rate of 4-5 per inch. Fins have a lot more surface area and allow for faster sound transfer to air, which lowers the temperature of the surface element.

For natural convection or forced air space heating in industrial process air heating systems, finned tubular heaters facilitate rapid heat transfer.
The fins on a specialized finning machine are attached to a standard tubular heater in the beginning of a cooled tubular heater.
