Ceramic Radiant Tube Furnace Heater

A furnace element may also be described as a ceramic bobbin radiant tube heater, a suitable heating source for a high temperature and uniform heating application, using radiant heat in a controlled environment. The furnace element consists of a coiled length of resistance wire of nickel-chromium alloy that is wound around a ceramic bobbin and enclosed in a the appropriate metal alloy tube, usually stainless steel or inconel. Because ceramic insulation provides very high thermal efficiency and a very long service life, they are the best component to use for furnaces, ovens and heating treatment equipment.
