Our Stainless Steel Immersion Tubular Cartridge Heater is made of MgO powder or MgO tube, a ceramic cap, resistance wire (NiCr2080), high-temperature leads, and a seamless stainless steel sheath (304,321,316,800,840). typically in the form of a tube that is inserted through a series of drilled holes into metal blocks for heating purposes. There are two basic types of cartridge heaters: high density and low density.

Low density cartridge heaters are better suited for applications such as packing machinery, heat sealing, labeling machines, and hot stamping. High density cartridge heaters are used to heat plastic injection molds, dies, platens, and so on.
