KSD 9700 series product is a thermostat with bimetal as temperature sensing element. When the electrical appliance works normally, bimetal is in free state, and the contact is in closed / open state. When the temperature rises to the action temperature value, the bimetal element will generate internal stress when heated and act quickly, open / close the contact, cut / close the circuit, so as to play a role of thermal protection. When the temperature drops to the nominal value, the contact will automatically close / open and return to the normal working state. N.O. / N.C. difference:
Normally closed: the original state contact of the temperature control switch is closed. When the temperature sensing temperature exceeds the rated temperature, the contact is disconnected
Normally closed = de energized over temperature.
