Bakelite Base KSD Thermostat

Bakelite base KSD thermostat is a kind of miniature hermetically sealed bimetal thermal protector, which is applicable to the temperature control of household electric appliance, such as bather, electric heating boiling bottle, electric disinfectant cupboard, dry cloth machine, micro-oven, electric heater and bathing heater. Also it an be used for over-temperature protection device of electrical machinery, rectifier equipment, daily electric appliance and all kings of electric heater. It is of single-pole single-throw structure and works under resistive load.

Installation and use instructions:

1-Grounding method: by connecting the metal cup of the thermostat to the grounded metal part.

2-The KSD thermostat shall work in an environment with humidity no more than 90%, free of corrosive, flammable gas and conductive dust.

3-When a thermostat is used to sense the temperature of a solid object, its cover shall be attached to the heated part of the object. At the same time, conductive silicone grease or other similar thermal medium shall be applied on the surface of the cover.

4-If a thermostat is used to sense the temperature of a liquid or vapor, a model with a stainless steel cup is highly recommended. In addition, please take care to prevent liquid from entering / entering the insulated parts of the thermostat.

5-Do not press the top of the cup to avoid sinking, so as not to have an adverse effect on the temperature sensitivity of the thermostat or other functions.

6-The liquid must be placed inside the thermostat! The base must provide any force that may cause rupture; it should be kept clean and away from contamination by electronic materials to prevent short circuit damage due to weakened insulation.

7-Terminals shall be bent, otherwise the reliability of electrical connection will be affected.
