The KSD 9700 Overheat Protection Switch is a compact, reliable, and cost-effective solution for thermal and overcurrent protection for electrical devices. The thermal protector uses a bimetallic disc that is sensitive to temperature changes as the temperature increases. When the temperature rises above the set value, the disc will bend, opening the circuit and switching off the device. When the temperature returns back down to the reset value, the disc will spring back to its original shape, allowing the connection to be restored (in the case of auto-reset models).
