The heating wire has a wide range of applications. A variety of commonly used electric heating equipment will use the heating wire as the heating element. Therefore, the heating wire is used in medical, chemical, electronic, electrical, metallurgical machinery, ceramic glass processing and other industries.

 

The heating wire can be divided into two categories according to the content and structure of the chemical elements.

The first type is the Cr-Ni alloy series: this type of alloy has high temperature strength, no brittleness after high temperature cooling, long service life, easy processing and welding, and is a widely used electric heating alloy. The softening annealing temperature of Ni-Cr series electric heating alloy is 950 ~ 1100 ℃, fast cooling.

The second type is the Fe-Cr-Al alloy series: high resistivity, good heat resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance. Compared with Ni-Cr alloys, it has a higher service temperature and is cheaper. However, this type of alloy is prone to brittleness when used at high temperature, and the permanent elongation is large when used for a long time. The softening annealing temperature of Fe-Cr-AI series electric heating alloy is 750 to 800 ℃, fast cooling.
