The slip-on flat welding flange is connected to the pipe end. It mainly useds for the parts that connect the pipe to the pipe. There are holes on the flange, which can be worn through bolts to make the two flanges tightly connected, and the flanges are sealed with gaskets.

Difference between Slip-on butt welding flange and Slip-on flat welding flange

1. Different welding seam is : the welding seam of the Slip-on butt welding flange is fillet weld, and the other one is circular weld;

2. Different materials: the Slip-on flat welding flange is made of ordinary steel plates with thickness that meets the requirements, while another one is made of forged steel parts;

3. The nominal pressure is different: the nominal pressure of the Slip-on flat welding flange is: 0.6---4.0MPa, while the Slip-on butt welding flange is 1--25MPa.

Operated Condition:

The flat welded flange is suitable for the connection of steel pipes with a nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5MPa.

It is used for the butt welding of the flange and the pipe.Reasonable structure, large strength and rigidity, it can withstand high temperature and high pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuations.
