Here is to indrodue the reason why the electric heating tube does not heat up.
1. Internal factors
The magnesium oxide powder in the electric heating tube will absorb moisture, and the port of the heating tube is not completely sealed, so if it is placed in a humid environment for a long time, moisture will enter the electric heating tube. At this time, the magnesium oxide powder, which has a thermal conductivity, is damp, so the electric heating tube will not heat up.
Situation Analysis:
A. Measure if there is any resistance value, if not, it is broken.
B. If there is still a resistance value, check whether there is any leakage. Use an insulation resistance meter to measure the insulation resistance value. (The larger the insulation resistance value, the better the insulation). If the insulation resistance value is relatively small, it means that the magnesium oxide powder in the heating tube may be damp, which may weaken the insulation of the electric heating tube.
C. the solution
(1) Dry the electric heating tube in an oven to dehumidify the magnesium oxide powder.
(2) Power on the electric heating tube with low voltage for a while, which also plays the role of dehumidification.
2. External factors
The wiring problem is an important factor that causes the electric heating tube not to heat up.
1. The single voltage of the electric heating tube is 380V. If connected to 220V, the rated power will definitely be reduced, which make electric heating tube not heat up.
2. With correct voltage and power supply, if the wiring method is wrong, it also causes the electric heating tube not to heat up.
