What is the manufacturing technology of thick film heating tube?
Thick film heating elements are manufactured in a completely different way from traditional heating elements (PTC, electromagnetic, etc.). The thick film heating element is composed of a stainless steel substrate, on which an insulating layer (in accordance with the requirements of dielectric strength) is printed, then a layer of resistive paste, then a contact layer and a connecting layer, and finally all these layers are covered with an insulating layer on top (Only provide protection against mechanical damage).
Throughout the production process, the products are prepared in a room with high air purity levels, and individual layers are applied by screen printing, and each layer is sintered immediately after drying, thus ensuring the ultimate quality of our products.
Therefore, the precisely manufactured thick film heating element has the characteristics of 1. rapid heating; 2. extremely low heat capacity; 3. small temperature fluctuation; 4. long service life. The heating efficiency is as high as 97%.
These components operate at standard line voltage (up to 400 V). Thick film heating elements have a very high surface power density-up to 60W/cm2. Nevertheless, its operating conditions should be adjusted according to the specific application. During the development and application of the project, when the thick film heating element provides sufficient heat, it should be reasonably transferred so that the surface temperature does not exceed 300°C.
