The thermal resistance and thermocouple are common temperature measuring instruments in the process of industrial production. Now, in order to meet the diversification of industrial needs, they have made great changes in shape, structure and probe rod material. Although they seem similar in appearance and structure, their working principles are very different.
Firstly, the measuring temperature range of thermal resistance is (- 200-600) ℃, while that of thermocouple is much larger, which can measure (0-1800) ℃.
Secondly, their principles are also different:
Thermal resistance is to measure the temperature by using the characteristic that the resistance value of metal conductor changes with temperature.
Thermocouples measure temperature based on the principle of characteristic effect.
