Calrod Heating Elements
Calrod elements are similar to metal sheathed elements but are specifically designed for household ovens. They consist of a coiled nichrome wire embedded in a ceramic insulator and enclosed in a metal sheath. Calrod elements are cost-effective and provide consistent heat for baking and roasting.
Induction Heating Elements
Induction ovens use electromagnetic fields to heat cookware directly, rather than relying on traditional heating elements. While not a physical heating element, induction technology is highly efficient and offers precise temperature control.
