The heating element of the oven does not turn red when it works, is it broken?
The heating element in the oven is an electric heating tube for dry burning. Generally, the surface temperature of the heating element for dry burning will not be red until the surface temperature reaches 400 degrees. Because the heating is continuous at the beginning, the surface temperature of the heating tube will be hot. After the temperature stabilizes, the heating tube heats up intermittently, so there is no redness, and it is still heated normally.
If there is no red after power on, it means that the heating element is not working, you can check the following points:
1. You can first check whether there is a problem with the wiring, if there is, correct the wiring;
2. If it is confirmed that there is no redness under the condition of normal power-on, the heating element has been damaged;
3. If the heating element is red in only part of the area, it means that the heating element heats up unevenly, which will affect the service life. The heating element in the oven is even red when it is normally energized.
