Is it better to use copper or stainless steel tube for the water tank?
Electric heating tubes have been widely used in water heating, most of which are stainless steel heating tubes, but some customers use copper tubes. Is the electric heating tube used on the water tank copper or stainless steel?
1. Copper heating tube:
Advantages: good heat transfer performance, easy to weld, suitable for non-corrosive liquids.
Disadvantages: not resistant to corrosion, high price, long-term use will produce patina to pollute the water source.

2.Stainless steel heating tube
Advantages: strong corrosion resistance, relatively mature welding process, low overall cost.
Disadvantages: The thermal conductivity is slightly worse than that of copper.

Because the cost of copper material is high, most of the materials on the market are stainless steel, so when welding butt joints, flanges and other accessories, the stainless steel water tank and the same material belong to dissimilar metals welding, and brazing and silver electrodes must be used. This kind of welding rod is more expensive, which increases the cost, so compared with the copper heating tube, the stainless steel heating tube is stronger and more convenient to weld with the water tank.
