Wavelength characteristics of infrared heating lamps
Shortwave radiation (0.78-1.4 microns). There is a substance that is almost unavoidable in normal heating, air (except greenhouse gases and water vapor), which does not absorb shortwave and medium-wave wavelengths.
Medium wave radiation (1.4-3.5 microns). Water molecules are particularly sensitive to medium wave wavelengths.
Long wave radiation {far infrared (3.5-1000 microns). Most of the air heating is done by far infrared.
Wavelength selection method of infrared heating lamp
1. For materials that can be directly radiated, you can choose short- and medium-wave infrared heaters. The efficiency will be high (the heat source starts fast), and the energy loss will be lower than before (the air is not absorbed so there will be no large energy loss);
2. Medium wave can be selected for materials that can directly radiate to remove moisture. Medium wave is divided into start-up efficiency: fast medium wave (5000 hours), carbon medium wave (8000 hours) and standard medium wave (20,000 hours). Which type of medium wave is determined according to the required efficiency;
3. Materials that cannot be directly radiated by infrared rays are heated. If the conversion medium is air, a far-infrared heater can be used. If the conversion medium is water or liquid, a medium-wave infrared heater can be used.
