Selection of Infrared Heating Lamp Voltage
Both 220V and 380V are China's AC voltage standards, and the frequency is 50HZ. China adopts three-phase four-wire transmission, that is, three live wires and one neutral wire (zero wire). Then the voltage between any live wire and a neutral wire is 220V, and the voltage between two live wires is 380V. China's civil electricity is generally 220V, and industrial electricity is 380V.
Infrared heating tube is a resistive load, for 220V voltage heating tube current = power/220, 380V voltage heating tube current = power/(380*1.732). So in the case of the same power, the current is smaller for the 380V heating tube.
There is no national standard for the selection of voltage, but we can consider it according to the design and manufacturing cost. For example, the withstand voltage of the two is different, and the requirements for the withstand voltage of electrical components are different. The current amount of 220V and 380V under the same power are also different. Different, the cost of selecting wires and cables is different. The cost of electrical components is the same. The higher the current, the higher the cost of electrical components.
The biggest difference between single-phase and three-phase is also the impact on grid operation. If the single-phase (220V) power is too large, it will cause three-phase imbalance.
Unbalanced three-phase will cause:
1. Increase the power loss of the line.
2. Increase the power loss of distribution transformers.
3. The output of the distribution transformer is reduced.
4. The distribution transformer generates zero sequence current.
5. Affect the safe operation of electrical equipment.
Therefore, we need to choose a reasonable voltage for the heating tube. Of course, our heating tube voltage is not only 220V, 380V. Our infrared heating lamps can be adapted to different industries and countries with different voltage specifications.
