Steps to Replace a Cartridge Heater:
- Turn Off Power: Ensure the power to the equipment or machinery is turned off to prevent any electrical hazards.
- Remove the Old Cartridge Heater:
Access the Heater: Locate the cartridge heater, which is typically inserted into a metal block or heating chamber.
Disconnect the Electrical Leads: If the heater is electrically connected, disconnect the wiring or terminals. Note how the wires are connected to make reinstallation easier.
Remove Mounting Fasteners: Some cartridge heaters are secured with screws or bolts, so use the appropriate tool to remove them.
