How to properly install a thermocouple:
(1) The thermocouple should be installed vertically on the horizontal or vertical pipeline as far as possible, and there should be a protective sleeve during installation to facilitate maintenance and replacement.
(2) The cold end of the thermocouple should be at the same ambient temperature, the compensation wire of the same type should be used, and the positive and negative should be connected.
(3) When measuring the temperature in the pipeline, the length of the element should be on the center line of the pipeline (that is, the insertion depth of the protection tube should be half of the diameter of the pipe).
(4) When installing the temperature moving coil meter, the opening size should be appropriate, and the installation should be beautiful.
(5) Use high temperature resistant cables or high temperature resistant compensation lines in high temperature areas.
(6) Different measuring elements should be selected according to different temperatures. Generally, when the measurement temperature is greater than 100 °C, a thermocouple should be selected, and a thermal resistance should be selected when it is less than 100 °C.
(7) The wiring should be reasonable and beautiful, and the pointer indication should be correct.
