We know that air hinders heat conduction, so the gap between the pipe wall of the flange heater and the hole wall of the mold should not be too large. If it is too large, the temperature of the electric heating tube will not be transmitted in time, so the surface of the electric heating tube The temperature will increase, and the internal temperature of the electric heating tube will also increase. When the internal temperature of the electric heating tube is high to a certain level, the resistance wire will burn out, and the electric heating tube will burn out at this time.
At the same time, the gap between the pipe wall of the flange heater and the hole wall of the mold should not be too small, because the diameter of the pipe will become thicker due to thermal expansion and contraction after the electric heating pipe is heated. When the electric heating tube is out of use, it cannot be pulled out when I want to replace it.
Therefore, the difference between the pipe diameter of the flange heater and the installation aperture must be within a certain range. According to our many years of production experience, their value is appropriate to be 0.1-0.2mm.
Such a value can not only ensure that the heat of the electric heating tube is transferred to the mold in time, but also enable the electric heating tube to be smoothly taken out after energization and heating. Therefore, it is necessary to confirm the pipe diameter before ordering the flange heater. Then confirm the installation hole diameter of the single-head electric heating pipe according to the pipe diameter. Similarly, if the hole has been drilled, the diameter of the single-head electric heating tube must be confirmed according to the hole diameter.
