How to install Electric Heating Radiant Tube?
1. Gather the necessary tools and materials, including electric heating radiant tubes, mounting brackets, electrical wiring, a circuit breaker, conduit, wire strippers, screws or anchors, and a drill.
2. Determine the location for installation. Electric heating radiant tubes can be mounted on walls, ceilings or suspended from the ceiling. Choose a location that provides optimal heating coverage for the desired area.
3. Install mounting brackets. Use a drill to mount the brackets on the selected location, making sure they are level and securely attached.
4. Install electrical wiring. Run conduit from the electrical panel to the location of the radiant tube heater. Use wire strippers to strip the ends of the wires, and connect them to the circuit breaker. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
5. Install the radiant tube heater. Insert the heating elements into the tube and mount the tube onto the brackets. Connect the electrical wiring to the unit and ensure it is securely attached.
6. Test the heating system. Turn on the power to the system and check for any issues with the heat output or electrical connection. Adjust the temperature settings as required and ensure that the system is functioning correctly.
7. Inspect the system regularly. Check the heating system for any signs of wear and tear or damage. Keep the area clean and free of obstructions to ensure proper heating and air circulation.
