1.When deciding to order a cartridge heater, you must consult the manufacturer, and clearly tell the manufacturer what you expect to achieve.
Customers often inquire which cartridge heater is good and has a long service life. I ask them to use the existing cartridge heater. Under the parameter measurement of the tube, I told me that the analysis revealed that most of the cartridge heaters are not scientifically designed, which leads to a short service life of the cartridge heaters.
2. Choose a heating element with thick or thick wire diameter.
The thickness of the material has a direct effect on the life of the component. As the diameter of the wire increases, there are more alloy components per unit on the surface that can form new oxides. Therefore, at a certain temperature, the thicker linear element has a longer life span, and similarly, the thicker ribbon element has a longer life span. Generally, the alloy diameter of the components that work at the highest temperature should not be less than 3.0mm, and the thickness of the flat strip should not be as close as 2.0mm.

3. Perform pre-oxidation treatment.
If the element can be pre-oxidized before using the heating wire to produce a relatively pure oxide film on the surface of the element, the service life of the element can be prolonged. It has been proved that in order to obtain the longest possible service life, it can be re-oxidized at intervals according to the usage.
