How to do if there are rust spots on the electric heating pipe?

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel heating pipe is not certain, but relative and conditional. At present, there is no steel that will not corrode in any environment at home or abroad. Stainless steel electric heating tube is not applicable in any environment, so it is possible to produce corrosion. The long-term existence of rust spots not only affects the appearance, but also reduces the service life due to the surface corrosion of stainless steel pipes. The rust spots on the surface of stainless steel pipes should be treated in time. Today, let's talk about how to deal with rust spots on the electric heating pipe?

1. Chemical method:

The chromium oxide film is repassivated by spray or acid pickling paste to restore the corrosion resistance. The acid pickling paste is applied on the surface to be treated, the film thickness is 0.5-2mm, the general reaction time is more than 3-10 minutes, and the time should be appropriately extended when the temperature is below 0 ℃ or the oxide skin is thick. In the process of treatment, brush several times. After the oxide skin on the surface is completely removed, rinse it with clean water (lime water or alkaline water is better) to avoid rust. After pickling, in order to remove all contaminants and acid residues, it is important to wash properly with clean water. After all treatment, use polishing equipment to polish again and seal with polishing wax. If there are slight rust spots on the part, the rust spots can also be wiped off with a clean rag with a mixture of gasoline and engine oil of 1:1.

2. Mechanical method:

Blast cleaning, shot peening with glass or ceramic particles, obliteration, brushing and polishing. It is possible to remove contamination from previously removed, polished or annihilated materials by mechanical means. All kinds of pollution, especially foreign iron particles, can be the source of corrosion, especially in humid environment. Therefore, mechanical cleaning surfaces should be properly cleaned in dry conditions. The mechanical method can only clean the surface, but can not change the corrosion resistance of the material itself. Therefore, it is recommended to use polishing equipment to re Polish after mechanical cleaning and seal with polishing wax.
