How to connect the wire of electric flange immersion heater?
This morning, a customer called to ask how to connect the electric flange immersion heater. So I sent him the wiring diagram and gave him corresponding guidance. Finally, I helped him solve the problem. There are also many customers who don't know clearly how to connect the flange electric heating pipe when they buy it. Today, I'll tell you how to connect the wire of electric flange immersion heater.
We take the electric flange immersion heater composed of three U-tubes as an example. We know that the three U-tubes have six terminals
1. Triangle connection, also called delta connection.
Delta connection method, its total voltage = phase voltage. See picture.
2. Y connection (star connection)
For Y-type or star connection method, its total voltage = √ 3 * phase voltage. When the voltage of a single U-tube in the flange electric heating pipe is 220 V and the power supply voltage is 380 V, this connection mode can be used.
3. Parallel connection
Three U-tubes are connected in parallel. When the voltage of U-type electric heating tube in flange electric heating pipe is 220 V and the power supply voltage is also 220 V, this connection mode can be used.
