1. Thermal Sensitivity of the Bimetallic Strip

2. Circuit Control
In the Normally Closed (NC) configuration, the bimetallic strip keeps the circuit closed under normal conditions, allowing current to flow and heat to generate. In the Normally Open (NO) configuration, the circuit remains open until the strip reaches the set temperature, where it bends to close the circuit, allowing current to flow.
