How do mica heaters work?

- Heating Element: The core component of a mica heater is a heating element. This element is typically made of resistance wire, which has a high electrical resistance. Nichrome is a common material used for this purpose.
- Mica Insulation: The heating element is embedded within or wrapped around a sheet of mica, a mineral known for its excellent electrical insulating properties. Mica is used to provide electrical insulation and to distribute heat evenly across the surface of the heater.
- Enclosure: The mica and heating element assembly is usually enclosed in a protective casing, often made of metal, to ensure durability and safety.
