F&Q For Heating Elements
1. Will the resistance of the heating element change after use?
Those who know the structure of the heating element know that the heating of the heating element mainly depends on the resistance wire in the tube, and the resistance value that determines the size of the resistance wire. Therefore, there is a close relationship between the resistance wire and the resistance value.
When the heating wire is heated, it will expand, and the resistance value will be affected after expansion, so the resistance of the heating element will change after use, but don't worry, the general resistance change will not be large, and it will not affect the normal use.
2. What is the surface load of the heating element?
The surface load of the heating element is the power per square centimeter carried by the heating element.
For example:
Pipe diameter 12mm, length 200mm, power 500W, find its surface load
First find the surface area of the heating tube: 3.14*1.2*20=75.36cm2
Then its surface load is: 500/75.36=6.6w/cm2
3. Can the air finned heater be heated all the time?
Air finned heaters are used to heat the air. When the surface load of the air finned heater is relatively small, the surface temperature of the air finned heater is lower than the temperature resistance temperature of the tube material and can be heated all the time. However, when the surface load of the element is relatively large, and the surface temperature of the air finned heater is greater than the temperature resistance temperature of the tube material, the temperature control instrument must be used to control it. When the temperature control probe detects the air finned heater When the surface temperature reaches the predetermined temperature, it is necessary to disconnect the power supply of the air finned heater and stop heating. Turn on again below the predetermined temperature.
