Finned Dryer Heater
When the finned dryer heater is dry, the most important thing for us is to ensure that the surface of the heating tube heats up quickly, uniformly and the surface temperature of the heating tube is not high. Only in this way, the life of the finned dryer heater will be long. In a dry working environment, we can generally wind fins on the basis of a double-head heating tube or a cartridge heater (also called: warped fins, radiating fins) to accelerate the heat dissipation rate and heat dissipation of the heating tube Evenly.
Finned dryer heaters are widely used in air duct type air heaters. Due to the fins, their heat dissipation effect is much better than that of ordinary heating tubes.
Precautions for finned dryer heater
1.The terminal of the finned dryer heater should be relatively fastened with two nuts when wiring. Do not use excessive force to avoid the loosening of the lead screw and damage the finned dryer heater.
2.The finned dryer heater should be stored in a dry warehouse. If the surface is damp due to long-term storage, use a megger to measure the insulation resistance. If it is less than 1 megohm/500 volts, the finned dryer heater should be placed in a 200 degree drying oven for drying.
3.The terminal of the finned dryer heater should be kept clean and dry, otherwise it will reduce the insulation performance and be short-circuited. If it is used in a chemically corrosive, flammable, explosive and other liquid or gas environment, the finned dryer heater should be connected. Part of it is strictly protected by insulating and sealing devices to prevent accidents. ,
