Polyimide Heaing Film

A Polyimide Heating Film is a thin, flexible, and lightweight electrical heater made by sandwiching an etched-foil resistive heating element between two layers of polyimide film (often known by the brand name Kapton). This construction creates a heater that is remarkably thin, often less than 0.5 mm, and can be custom-cut to fit complex shapes.

Extremely Thin & Lightweight: Adds negligible bulk or mass to the assembly.

Uniform Heating: The etched foil element provides even heat distribution across the entire surface, avoiding hot spots.

Fast Thermal Response: The low thermal mass allows them to heat up and cool down very quickly.

Flexibility: Can conform to curved or irregular surfaces.

Easy Integration: The self-adhesive backing and simple lead wires make installation straightforward.

Customizable: Can be manufactured in complex shapes with custom cut-outs, integrated sensors, and specific wattages.
